“Useful but incomplete” means your content is useful. Subscribers gain value and can get results from following it. But it doesn’t feel complete. You gave them a thousand-foot overview of the whole process, but you didn’t get into the little nitty-gritty details. Or you gave them the first step to take. They do it and get results, but now they need to move into step two. You help them solve their first problem, and now they need to solve the next one…
Subject: 3 Ways to Uncover Your Buyers Secret Language
What if your best customers offered to write your websites and your emails for you…for free?
They write the EXACT words to say to lead them into a buying decision.
No more stressing out over a blank page.
You just use your customer’s own words…freely given to you.
Because let’s face it.
Sometimes writing sucks.
Hemingway said, “There is nothing to writing. All you do is sit down at a typewriter and bleed.”
Maybe that’s what you’ve been taught…bleed all over the page.
But there’s a much easier way where you use your customer’s own words to persuade them.
It’s impossible to share the complete step-by-step technique in an email, but I can get you started on the right path.
Buyer’s Secret Language #1: Amazon
What sets Amazon apart from Google, Bing, Facebook, and other top sites?
Only BUYERS visit Amazon.
BINGO.
There are rumors Amazon has over 200,000,000 credit cards on file.
That’s like heaven to a smart marketer.
Here are just a couple of techniques you can use today on Amazon.
Visit any category in Amazon and find the top selling products. What titles pull the most interest?
Click on those top sellers. Read the customer reviews.
What do customers say positively or negatively about this product?
It gets even more exciting. Each review actually lets other customers VOTE on whether a review was helpful.
That’s right. Other customers are voting on whether the language in that review helped them make a BUYING decision.
I have to stop here or we could be here all day with everything you can do with this information.
Two more quickies…and then I have to run until tomorrow.
Buyer’s Secret Language #2: Forums
Dig into the popular forums in your niche.
Most of them allow you to sort all the threads by popularity. The threads with the highest readership and replies hit a nerve in the market.
People CLICKED on those subject lines.
I hope you just grabbed a major hint for your emails in that last sentence…
Buyer’s Secret Language #3: Search.Twitter.com
Twitter is basically a social media site where your future customers go around shouting out everything on their minds all day long.
Try typing in phrases that match up with what you do, what you sell, or even competitor’s names.
Ignore the marketers and look for what customers are saying about the subject.
They’ll give you clues here about exactly what you need to say on your website and in your emails.
Can you tell this topic gets me excited?
I’m always looking for shortcuts that actually work.
You can create winning websites and emails using OTHER people’s language.
In fact, this is the EASY way. Quit struggling and often getting it wrong on your own.
